Once again it is our charity month here at Broomhill Veterinary Practice! This year we are holding our annual fundraiser in aid of South Yorkshire animal rescue. There will be cakes, games, bric a brac, raffle and animal encounters of the wild kind!
Our raffle this year includes prizes kindly donated by local businesses such as a £30 voucher to Sakushi and some No.7 cosmetics as well as a meal out, a haircut and of course bottles of wine to name but a few.
Tickets are on sale at the practice for just £1, until the raffle prize draw at the end of July. Pay us a visit to buy your tickets or give us a call and we can reserve them for you.
South Yorkshire animal rescue is the last wildlife rescue left in the Sheffield. This charity offers refuge to unwanted, injured and abandoned animals and have increasingly been caring for wildlife with the aim to rehabilitate and release them. Sadly this charity which has been running since 1982 is running so low on funds that they are facing closure.
It is easy to see how valuable a service the South Yorkshire animal rescue is providing when you encounter an ill hedgehog or a weak stout. These beautiful and struggling wildlife creatures are needing their care more than ever. To learn more about this struggling charity take a look at their website at http://www.syar.org.uk/
For more information please pop in to the practice or give us a call on 0114 268 3239
We would like to thank these local shops and businesses for donating prizes for our raffle:
Sakushi, Shine, Avocado, Good taste, The Fox and Duck, Boots.
