Welcome to the Broomhill Veterinary Practice website

The practice opened in 2007 in the S10 area of Sheffield, and ever since our staff have been dedicated to good service for our clients, and outstanding care for our patients.

We offer 15 minute consultation appointments as standard to all patients.

Our vets are experienced in caring for a wide variety of companion animals, and as we are a small team it is possible to see the same vet at every visit.

Sophie Badger - Animal Care Assistant

Sophie joined the practice in March 2015. After studying an Animal Management level 3 Diploma, followed by an FdSc in Wildlife Education and Media and then a BSc in applied Zoology, she has worked and volunteered in various animal establishments. She did her dissertation on badgers and she is definitely a fan of them but no, she didn't change her name to Badger by deed poll!

Having lived in Newquay for 3 years during her studies, she made the most of her time there by volunteering at St Francis dog shelter, where she fell in love with almost every dog they had there!

Though currently unable to afford the time and space for one of her own, Sophie is dog mad! Dog training and studying animal behaviour is something Sophie is particularly interested in. It is only a matter of time until she gets her own dog to practice tricks with, but in the mean time she uses Anneke's dog, Noodle!

Sophie is currently undertaking a dog Grooming course at College of Animal Welfare. She is loving it!
